Fast-Blast

Welcome to my website!

If you've been on my website some time ago (which you probably have not), you would notice quite some changes. I just made myself a better website because, frankly, the old one sucked. Please tell me if anything doesn't work because I've honestly been spamming links before they exist. I hope you enjoy this website, as its where I'll be showcasing all my projects. I'm hosting it on a Raspberry Pi 4B (2GB RAM), for the full stack of this website, visit /stack.

P.S. I'm not located in the UK, thats just the cheapest domain extension on Cloudflare.

About Me

I'm a maker, and I enjoy things like programming, 3D printing and electronics (and some light gaming of course). Making things myself, like my own programs, or my own tools, is what I fill my free time with. I like understanding how things work and figuring out how to make them better (or at least more interesting). Whether that’s a piece of code or a physical object on my desk. If I can build it myself, I probably will.

Programming

I'm a backend deverloper... ...mostly (of course this site is an exception). I can code fluently in Python, and I can read most other languages. I'm currently working towards learning Rust and C++. You can check out my projects on /projects, most of them are coding related. Of course for the actual repos, I currently have spread over Codeberg, GitHub and my self-hosted Gitea, but I'm working towards bringing everything over to Codeberg, as I don't like the GitHub enterprise-focused mindset, or the pressure of hosting my own git (due to the risks).

3D Printing

I currently only have a Creality Ender-3 V3 SE, but its enough for what I do right now (though a bigger print area might be nice...). I use 3D printing mostly to make shells for my projects, but I will print a fidget for a family member or friend every now and then. I did a few 3D models on Creality Cloud, but they aren't very good, I personally like the models on Printables and MakerWorld the most (though I don't have any there).

Electronics

Of course, for my physical projects, I require electronics. I have Arduinos and ESP-32s just laying around in my drawers. I also enjoy soldering. If you ever wonder where I get my parts from, I find them on a more local website (TinyTronics, really good quality), then look at my bank ballance, and buy them off of Amazon.

Art

My friend said my website was missing some art, so here is Napoleon cat.

I don't think the actual name of the cat is Napoleon cat, and I think its from a Reddit post, but it's also my friends profile picture, and we've always called it Napoleon cat (well, Napoleon kat because Dutch).
