We've been working on making random software ourselves, like we have our own package repository system (for Debian), though its still a work in progress, and needs some packages on there in the first place.

A project we are working on is Fizz OS, a Debian based Linux distro, that will promote customization and prevent bloat, with a simple app where you can select the apps YOU want, and not the ones preselected for you.
